Luciana Paoluzzi was born Rome and was raised by her parents. Her father was Manlio Paoluzzi, an Italian military officer. Maria Rota Paoluzzi was one of Benito's lovers. There are no known siblings. She attended a local high school, and after matriculating in 1955 she studied navy engineering at the Scientific Academy of Milan - Luciana was the only female in the class. Luciana began as fashion models after only two years. Her career changed soon following, and by chance she landed her first acting role as a character in Three Coins in the Fountain. Brett Halsey - an actor - was her first spouse. They completed Return to the Peyton Palace together after their 1960 wedding. Luciana and Charles had a son who was named Charles on June 13, 1961. However, the couple broke up after a year of the birth. Luciana then gained custody. Between 1962 and 1970 Luciana dated Tony Athony, an actor and producer. Tony was greatly influenced by her performance in the movie Green Slime and based on that he wrote and produced the mix Spaghetti Western for which he gained some recognition.
