Luciana Paoluzzi grew-up living in Rome together with her mother and father. Luciana Paoluzzi's father is an Italian Army officer. Maria Rota Paoluzzi's mother was the former lover to Benito Mussolini. There is no information about her having siblings. Luciana attended a local high school prior to matriculating at the Scientific Academy of Milan in 1955. Luciana was one of the only women in the class. Within two years she launched her career as a model but that all changed when she got her first acting job in a chance encounter while visiting her father's acquaintance in Rome she played a small two-line part as a character in Three Coins in the Fountain and that's the point at which it all began. Brett Halsey - an actor - was her first spouse. They got married in 1960 and made the movie Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana was given custody of Charles born on 13 June 1961. They divorced one year later. Luciana had a long-term relationship with Tony Athony, an actor and film producer. Tony was influenced by Luciana's role on Green Slime to create the Spaghetti Western.
