Luciana Paoluzzi was born in Rome, where she was raised by her parents. Luciana Paoluzzi had a father who is a retired Italian soldier as well as a mother named Maria Rota Paoluzzi. She was also a mistress with Benito Mussolini. It is not known if she had having siblings. Luciana graduated from a local high-school in the year 1955. She went on to study naval engineering in Milan in the Scientific Academy of Milan. Luciana as the sole female of her class was the first complete her studies. Luciana was involved in a romantic relationship with Tony Athony between 1962 until 1970. He was an actor and producer who had the idea to create and write The Spaghetti Western hybrid based on her character as Green Slime.
