Mary Marg Helgenberger (born November 16th, 1958) is an American actor from the United States. She began her acting career in the 1980s. her professional career, and was recognized for her character, Siobhan Ryan on the soap opera daytime Ryan's Hope between 1982 and the year 1986. She is best known for the role she played as Catherine Willows in the CBS police procedural drama. Crime Scene Investigation, a TV show that ran from 2000 through 2013, and Immortality the TV movie made in 2015. Vegas The film was made from 2022 onwards. Helgenberger was also well-known for his performance as K.C. She received the Emmy Award in 1990 for Outstanding Supporting actress in a Drama Series as a result of her role in the role of Koloski on China Beach, an ABC drama China Beach from 1988 to 1991. Her other credits include TV program Under the Dome (1998) as well as Intelligence (1995) along with as the movies Species (2000) Erin Brockovich (2000) and Mr. Brooks (2007). She is the eldest of her four siblings. McCain has attended in the Phoenix Country Day School, the only all-girls private Catholic school. In 2007, she received her bachelor's in art history from Columbia University. She was co-host of daytime program The View, which she held the show until 2021. For her work she got four Daytime Emmy Award nominations. Other ventures McCain was a columnist at The Daily Mail newspaper after her three years at The View.
