Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez was born in Mexico. She's an American-Mexican actor. She also sings. Her mom raised her in the USA, where she faced many racial taunts that caused her to feel as someone who was not wanted. In the ninth grade, after a school audition, where she received high praise for her voice as she built confidence. Not only did she gain confidence from the experience and gained experience, but also changed her plans for her career. At 22 she was a graduate of the New York's Julliard School. When she was 23, she made her debut on Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films featuring You've Got Mail. In the Broadway first production of Spamalot she portrayed The Lady of The Lake and won both the Tony Award as well as the praise of critics. The recognition grew even more when she appeared in Grey's Anatomy on ABC as Dr. Callie Torres. Also, she is a well-known artist and produced an extended show. She has also been a vocal advocate for LGBT issues.
